Tuna Pinwheels

This clean eating tuna pinwheel “recipe” is such an easy lunch to throw together and it’s great for kids and adults alike! It’s a fun presentation and gives a good dose of protein and fats to get the kids (or you!) through until dinner.

You’ve probably seen those Armenian sandwiches on trays in the grocery store that are basically turkey, cream cheese and a few other ingredients wrapped up in lavash and sliced into round little wheels. Almost like a sliced burrito, but in spiral form.

That’s exactly what these are only I made it a ton easier. These are so fast and easy to make it’s almost silly to call it a recipe. But lets face it, when you’re trying to get the kids out the door to school or even get yourself to work in a hurry, fast and easy are the way to go!

While I do give actual measurements here, you can certainly adjust this any way you like. Add more mayo or less. Try plain yogurt instead if you prefer to avoid the mayo. You don’t even have to slice these if I’m being totally honest. Just roll them up like a carpet and go!

I do highly recommend packing these with a cold-pack, however. You don’t want fish sitting in a warm lunchbox for 4 hours until lunch time. Keep these cold and all will be well.

These truly do keep you going until dinner. They are perfectly filling, fun to eat and once sliced, they can be packed in the littlest of lunch boxes. As some of you know from previous years, I love the Bento style lunch boxes. These pinwheels fit perfectly into those tiny little compartments!

Psssst!!! This is an easy lunch for kids to make themselves too!
